Tap water is a very harmful form of drinking water. Although, we need to drink plenty of water to keep a healthy life, tap water is the most dangerous water we can ingest. The main danger in tap water is chlorine. When the chlorine level is high in the water, you can smell or taste it. Studies have shown a direct connection between drinking chlorinated tap water and increasing the risk of asthma, eczema, cancer, and other conditions and diseases.

Another negative side-effect you can receive from tap water is lead deposits from the lead water pipes. The lead pipes made prior to 1970 are especially dangerous. Lead can cause blood and brain disorders. Lead can also cause damage to the nervous system.
