Alkaline Ionized Water - Two Antioxidant Qualities
Alkaline ionized water has two distinct antioxidant agents, which are hydroxyl ions and a negative charge. Hydroxyl ions are considered to be free radical scavengers. Free radical cells are the damaged cells in the body that make a person prone to sickness and disease. The body has a constant lack of electrons and alkaline ionized water contains many of them, thus getting rid of free radicals in the body. Ionized water is a high level antioxidant because of its small molecular structure. This allows the water to enter into the cells and flush the toxins out. Therefore, alkaline ionized water is the best drinking water for detoxifying the body.

The Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water an The United States Environmental Protection Agency oversees the Safe Drinking Water Act, which is the American national law to make tap water safe. Although, it is very positive that the U.S. provides a law to keep tap water safe for drinking, much of our water is not safe in the long-term.
We suggest that you use a quality water filter, filtration system, or drink a good bottled water instead of drinking tap water full of dangerous contaminates. National Water Program - Improving Quality of Water
The National Water Program is in existence to protect and improve water resources in the United States through education, research, and extension efforts. The National Water Program is determined to improve drinking water and the health of humans. CSREES and the Land Grant System have brought forth many educational programs that address water monitoring and assessment, water conservation, pollution prevention, and drinking water testing.
This organization believes that the health and livelihood of Americans is directly related to the availability of a safe drinking water supply. They state that, "community water systems now supply drinking water to over 80 percent of the U.S. population."
Since we have a shortage of safe drinking water in America, we want you to search out the Best Drinking Water available in bottled waters, water filters, and ionizer machines.

Why Tap Water is Harmful
Tap water is a very harmful form of drinking water. Although, we need to drink plenty of water to keep a healthy life, tap water is the most dangerous water we can ingest. Many harmful contaminates have been found when tap water has been tested. You can find a national assessment of tap water quality at the National Tap Water Quality Database.
The main danger in tap water is chlorine. When the chlorine level is high in the water, you can smell or taste it. Studies have shown a direct connection between drinking chlorinated tap water and increasing the risk of asthma, eczema, cancer, and other conditions and diseases.
Another negative side-effect you can receive from tap water is lead deposits from the lead water pipes. The lead pipes made prior to 1970 are especially dangerous. Lead can cause blood and brain disorders. Lead can also cause damage to the nervous system.
